Spa Historic Gand Prix 15 july 2006
Spend another day at Spa Francorchamps. A couple of months ago I read about the Historic Grand Prix, when I read that there would be a race with group C cars I knew I had to be there. I have always been fascinated with the older Le Mans racers. Silk Cut Jaguar, FAT Turbo Joest Porsche, Skoal Bandit ... Well the cars certainly did not disappoint me, these cars are big loud monsters. There were also some nice exotics in the car park, even a MC Laren F1
The pics are @ http://www.e40racer.be/spahistoric2006.php

? - it's just gets a little tiresome when people only post a picture or 2 and then drag you off to some other website.
At least have the common courtesy to post a number of images on the webforum you are using to direct traffic to your own website.
It seems Jabbasworld is being abused to point of just being a launch pad to direct traffic elsewhere.
There are forums out there that would not tolerate this - yet it's allowed here, and one would expect a little courtesy in return.
And another thing, the What You Sawy Forum is about discussing the sigthings - something thats a little difficult when all the images are some place else.

I meant I was jealous of him because he got to see all of that and experience it.
As for linking to another site, it's not like he linked to another forum, it's just a photo gallery. Makes a lot more sense to just do that rather than make him upload them all to image shack or something and post a hundred thumbnails on here.

We should have rule that says at least 5 images on this thread if you want to link to some other place
Oh - and the quote button is the way to prevent future such misunderstandings.
It is rather accepted that when a response has not context indicator, it is in response to the post driectly above it

Sorry, but I don't understand you. I link to my personal homepage, wich doesn't have any banners or annoying pop-ups.
I pay for this homepage. The reason I do this is because I hate sites like imageshack. Imageshack is slow, has annoying banners ... I have no problem that you're against people that post pics or links to pics with commercial watermarks/sponsors.
Also, on my webpage I make a gallery so that you can easily browse all pictures.
I do understand that only posting one thumb is not so good, makes the post not so attractive. So in the future I'll post more thumbs. Here are some more:
The MC Laren F1
Nice Lotus
Jaguar E type
AC Cobra
Osella PA4

Georgeous cars. Always nice when you're allowed in the paddock to check 'm out from closeby. Thanks for posting your pics in high res, the cars deserve it.

I have been going to Spa Francorchamps for almost 10 years. In those years I probably saw almost every supercar produced in that period. I remember an orange MCLaren F1 GTR at the Ferrari days (I think 5 years ago). One of the first times I went to Spa I saw a Porsche 959 and Jaguar XJ220 parked side by side. So just keep on going you're time will come
I would love to go more to Spa but it's a 240km (one way) ride for me. I run my own business so I don't always have the time.
