Default Spa-Francorchamps (Ferrari, Stratos, Lambo, Detomaso,...)

Hi,

forgot to post these a few pictures from Spa-Francorchamps: Spa Italia 2006, sadly I went sunday instead of saturday (saturday there was the veyron, but hell...) Few pictures from some cars around that day, I must say I was VERY dissapointed to see this year's edition, I suposed to get a ride in a 360 CS, F40 & Gallardo, BUT they didn't do it anymore this year so I was quite pissed already since I've been waiting a full year for this, then I noticed that there weren't such special cars like previous spa italia (F50, 4x F40, in the hundred ferrari's, and a lot of lambo's) now I didn't even saw one murci or countach and just one F40,
but thx to all of that, still quite a nice day with a few very nice cars

Beautiful Alfa Romeo

Very nice Ferrari F355 GTS

Ferrari 328 GTS

Ferrari 360 Modena

Ferrari F355 Berlinetta

Ferrari 360 Modena w/ Challenge Grill

Ferrari 360 Spider w/ BBS Rims

Ferrari Testarossa

Ferrari 360 Spider

Lancia Stratos...I dunno what happend but when I saw this car in real life in didn't look as nice as I thought such a small, high quite ugly car, I don't get it, it looked so beautiful on the most pics I've saw Strange...

Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO's

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale...lovely...

Detomaso Pantera GTS

Detomaso Pantera SI

Lamborghini Diablo 30SE ... Vettura N° 102/150 ...

Lamborghini Diablo VT

Combo of two Pantera GTS'

The Other Pantera GTS

Ferrari 348 GTS

Ferrari F40

Lamborghini Gallardo

F355 GTS & Testarossa on track

Now let's make ARMAN happy: BMW E30 M3

ENJOY.

Nice pics

Especially like the lancia's and that lambo one is a rare one isn't it. I thought only 100 of them or so were made

The 30th Anniversary lavendar car was made 150 times, so it could be called rare, the red one is actually an early Diablo model, not a VT, with a massive rear wing installed, nothing rare about that one.

I think you're confused with the Diablo VTR edition, only 3 were made, it was actually a VT model with an SE30 bodywork, an orange one, a yellow RHD one and a dark red metallic one were made.

As for SpaItalia 2006 ... it was a real dissapointment, not too many Lambo's, not a lot of Ferrari's ... I guess the organization didn't take care of this event as the last few years ... I was there at 8:30, and around 10 I was thinking of going home again, fortuntaly some Lamborghini's did arrive but not the numbers I was used to from the previous two years.

Let's hope next year will be back on track ...

Deal

I think next year will be better since it then will be specialized on ferrari's & lambo's again like previous year, this year they specialized on Lancia & Maserati I thought

I don't think the Stratos is a very good looking car either. I'd never seen one live, but even in pics it looks weird. It seems small and a but high

Those Integrales are awesome  Specially the blue one with those huge withe wheels

I love the Detomaso Pantera but that SI version is a bit

This year was Lancia and Abarth, with the Abarth World meeting or something like that ... and if I read their website correctly they are tending to celebrate Maserati next year.

If Lamborghini Brussels is again not going to be present next year I have some serious doubts about participating again, they charged 40 Euro to enter with a Lamborghini ... if you arrive in an Italian car, entry should be free since it's these cars that make their event after all, if no Italian cars show up there is no SpaItalia !

I don't know how this is handled in the US or in other countries, but in the Netherlands entry with a Lamborghini is free on Assen and Zandvoort if you are a member of the Club, just the passenger(s) have to pay a normal entry fee sometimes.

Sure hope they will pick up the pace again for next year, otherwise I think a lot of enthusiasts will be stuck with a bad taste ... like this year.
