Default Project Fiesta Gearting back up.....H&R coliovers purcha

Well, due to one hell of a busy time at work I have on one hand not been able to pay any attention to my car but on the other hand, I have been able to save up some money

I have been living by - "patience is a virtue" for the last 6 mths or so. Anyway. My poor little fiesta is about ready to have a lease of life breathed back into her. I have bought a complete interior (out of a ZS - same as gis's car) & Sound deadening material (Second Skin damplifier Pro).

I have also just order some H&R coilovers which will arrive on Wed. I have re-sold the 2.0 duratec engine I got as I have decided that it is not the right engine for my needs. Instead, I am hunting down a Focus RS engine and all the associated bits - it is a one stop solutions as opposed to the N/A duratec which needs a lot of work to reach a decent (yet sensible) power output.

Over the coming months, I will be collecting various parts to complete the converstion.... everything from adjustable lower arms (a lowered fiesta has stupid inside tyre wear) to new rads & fans.

I will then test fit the engine just before the car is stripped back to the shell and sent to my painter for a new shade of blue (from green).

Due date for the new car to roll out is February 2007 (for insurance reasons).

I know there will be those who say spend your money on a new car...but, since I am not paying for any labour, find me a car that will be as unique as mine, as quick as mine and have my blood sweat and tears invested into it for a mere £6k

Watch this space. I will post pics as the parts start to flow in 8)

(I'll get some reference pics of the car as it is - the new interior e.t.c up in a bit)

PS'd a bit lower:

An idea of what it will look like bar the blue colour change:

Sweet, a light mk4 fiesta with a focus RS engine  that is sure a recipe for speed. Fiesta's are some really fun cars imo. I still wish I had my mk3 fiesta at times. Sounds like you want something alittle more than fun though

Ill keep an eye on this thread, I like what your doing.
