no good paintball forums
you know, JW is great, but i think it's spoiled me.
I've been trying to get into paintball-forums.com but fuck all, that place is probably the most childish place i've ever seen. They're obsessed with keeping everything PG13 and have "swear filters" in place which turn any "bad" word into ****, instead of offering help and useful answers to questions that are stupid to veteran players, they instead do everything short of calling you stupid. And don't ge me started on the fact that you can't even MENTION other forums there, regardless of their content or you face being banned. Oh, and you have to say you got something through the ONE online store that is advertised there, otherwise you can't say anything about where you got it.
the one positive thing i can say about them is that they are more organized than the other PB forums i've looked at, which really sucks because i'm trying to locate people to go outlaw ball with.
I'd ask for a paintball subforum here, but i have a feeling that would be a lonely, lonely place

well... i've only been paintball'n a few times, and loved it!
if you ever come to MI; drop a line, and we'll go to Hell for some great PB scenarios (capture/defend the hill; urban combat; capture/defend the castle)

i'm not even sure really. With all the mods these guys are doing, it's hard to tell. I'd have to check back over on that forum to see what the retards are saying. I know the E99 has been mentioned before. I'm concentrating on my Spyder Rodeo at the moment.
nth, sounds like a deal
>EDIT< I've noticed alot of them get excited about the Smart Parts Shocker, but i'm still not 100% sure. They all seem pretty loyal to their guns.

Heh, I know how you feel Zfrk, I've joined a few paintball forums and posted just a few times. It's all little kids who think they are the shit, or old people who think everything needs to be PC and nice.
Also, what the hell is outlaw ball?
We don't play any games, we just split into two even teams and go at it untill nobody from a single team is left. Only rules are: 2 hits for someone to be out, or 1 shot if it's in the head and shooting someones gun doesn't count as a hit.

You and your buddies find an empty field somewhere and play until your tanks or hoppers are empty or until someone calls the cops for tresspassing.

from what I've seen pb-nation isn't all that bad.
I love my A-5 I have pretty much every mod you can do to it and my Auto/miniMags are pretty nice but they are expensive to mod, although I got the guns for dirt cheap so I can't complain.

http://www.ottersccustoms.com/polishing.html
good article on how to polish the internals of a gun. also has a bunch of trigger mods for both e-frames and mech triggers. alot cheaper than buying a bolt.

I haven't played in ages, but I just started watching the NPPL on ESPN2. nice to see some exposure for the sport. I'd be up for a paintball forum!
