There is a doubt on the configuration of the McLaren ... They don't have to be "legal" for these tests But I hope that it is the real potential of the McLaren

Yeh i'm hoping the exact same thing because if the mp4-21 can go that fast than it shall be a worthy successor to the mp4-20 and that was fast but fragile it, i was reading an editorial somewhere that the reson why the mclaren has so many mechanical failures(except for engine blow ups) is because kimi's driving style is too aggressive and went on to say that alonso would be better suited to the car.

Montoya also has some mechanical problems last year so I doubt that it comes from Kimi's driving style ... or maybe they musn't put a driver in the car

according to the renault engineer i spoke with last month, Alonso was on the verge of breaking his own car after several important victories.

its how F1 works... make it last a race, and be the best it possibly can be in that time frame... McLaren just had the time frame wrong... finish qualifying, then break... then finish most of a race, and break
