aha, nice article. A bit of a predictably outcome, but still nice! Thx for posting it!

I love reading things like.........

"And we never grew tired of hearing the engine. It really is the sweetest-sounding motor available. Every time we headed off on a lapping session, crowds formed at the starter's stand."

"we'd sell our homes if it meant we could hear that engine every day."

guess what engine they're talking about.....
Cool

I enjoy reading comparisons, but it looks to me like this is the wrong comparison for the Ford GT.

Hell, some magazines are comparing it to the 360 Modena not Stradale when this car is quicker than a Murcielago, Saleen S7 or even earlier super Ferraris like F40 and F50.

The Ferrari looks so much better, but the Ford owned it.

I want to see a Top Speed run with that baby. I wanna see Tiff take it out onto the track for some R&R. The Ford is sexy.

The Ford is beautiful but I still prefere the Ferrari (360 modena or the Challenge Stradale).
The Ferrari when driven HARD can be difficult, it requires proper driving skills, when the Ford is easier. But I'm Italian, I love Ferrari, even if it costs a lot, for me this car is magic. It's not the more powerful, not the more brutal, or faster, but SHE has something...magic...Ferrari is a kind of magic

I read in a Dutch car magazine that Ford bought a Ferrari 360 when they were designing the GT. That's no news to us, but what I didn't know yet was this. The Ford engineers couldn't believe that the 360 was as stiff as Ferrari claimed. There was one way to find out how stiff it really was and that was to take it apart. They found out Ferrari hadn't been lying!

That outcome actually surprised me. I thought that the stradale would have been much faster seeing as it started as a 360 and was stripped down as opposed to a stripped down 911. And the GT40 isnt even really stripped down. Finally there is an american car that can compete with the best
