I just love the sound of the Carrera GT. When the guy is about to overtake and goes down a gear. Lovely.

Supercharger in the Lightening sounds sweet. I wonder if it was really capable of outrunning the CGT to 60 or if the other driver wasn't racing ect.

Banchi105, I think the lightning can do it in 5.5 or something like that, so I doubt it could beat a CGT to anything. He said something about the CGT needing maintenance too so he was probably taking it somewhat easy.

I think the CGT lifted, in case the Lightning decided to cut left since it came up behind a car...
In any case, the lightning is quick, but not CGT territory...at all.
Given the reputation the CGT has, with regard to the clutch...it seems that the driver was taking it pretty easy. I read, with launching, you really have to try to slip the clutch...or go for it with a pretty aggressive launch...or you'll chance killing the motor...
It would have been nice to hear the CGT do a harder drive-by...just to hear the motor wail...

^^^^
many many many many Lightnings are running 600 hp...
still, the CGT is faster/more desirable/better etc. etc.
the 'stock' lightning wont light up the rears w/out slight power braking... this truck needed just a heavy foot
