Default Carrera gt

I decided to stop at the porsche dealership thats 1/2 a mile from my house today. I don't know what possessed me to do so but it was worth the trip. Without further ado:

The price if anyone is interested was 419000. It was on special for the holidays.

Lucky find.

Nice that they allowe the pictures to be taken. I have tried to get some pictures of the 3 CGT's that have come through Houston, and the arsehole floor manager is "no pictures - please".

Just as gorgeous as its pictures. Lived up to the billing The thing that suprised me the most was how intricate the details were when you get up close. Things like the hollow spot under the dash for your luggage and some of the vents, things you dont see in vids, give it an air of lightness. Just fantastic.

Nice find, even when it's one of the "boring" grey ones thanks for the pics

BTW, merged the two topics

Nice pics, though i hate it when the whole interior is covered in that leather... its nice in patches

I've only seen two CGTs so far, and none in the wild. I love the car more and more though... its such a pure design 8)

I was rather surprised at how underwhelming the CGT that I saw lapping at HMSR seemed.

...compared to the raucous affair the GT3 had with the track, and the whining bellow of the Ford GT - the Carrera GT sort of just whooshed around the track very, very quickly... almost unnoticed... like a "boring" silver CGT in the showroom... no fanfare - just speed..

not quite the experience i've had... but i've yet to see a 'real' GT3 since i've started to try and notice such things.

oh, and Dealers up in MI are all welcoming of photos of thier cars in my experience... every single one

Gray... the CGT that was at the Porsche dealer in lansing was trying to moveit somewhere further south... do you happen to know if that one came from here? its the same interior/exterior options... also im guessing the most common.

nice sighting 8)

Not a clue. I could always stop in and ask..*They might look at me funny though.. My expectation is it wont sell here either. We have some wealthy people here, but all the major corporations are downsizing and its too far to where the real money is(mainline pa)
