Default 82 Lincoln 302 into 67 Mustang?

Ok, here's the deal, have a 67 mustang, had a 200 in it to begin with, blew that engine due to a bad radiator overheating the engine. Well anyways originally pulled a 302 from a 73 ranchero, got all the conversion parts for the mustang, mounts, flywheel, bell housing, torque converter, radiator, ect. Well got everything mounted up, and turns out the ranchero engine is frozen up, will not turn at all. Anyways, found a 82 lincoln with a 302 that does run. I know it is a little different, such as all the egr stuff, that can be removed, the duraspark ignition, and all the other accessories, and sensors on that car. My main question is will the engine mount up to the C4 tranny in my stang? I know in the 80s they started using the AOD transmissions and whatnot, but I don't know if it will mount up with the tranny, and if it does, will I need different flywheel/splines/torque conveter. Also what stuff can I get rid of off the engine to make it as simple and old school as possible like the engine I was swapping in. I don't want to have to worry about a bunch of sensors other than like oil pressure, and temp. Overall, is this swap possible?
