Ok, this event took place about two months ago in Cratia's circuit Grobnik...

I had the chance to get a ride in the SLR and the orange DTM, but we had to leave early....... :x , that's a chance I'll never get back, lol

I did to get to drive the 350 CLS and the new S class. Nice cars 8)

Anyway, here's the fast one. The sound it makes is just unreal....

Now this was the real treat for the day. The 300 SL and his "topless" bro.

The sound it makes is soooo nice. Compared to the SLR's deep and not so loud rumble it's like poetry! The car really is one of the most beautifull machines ever made. The attention to detail is stunning....

this croatian reporter was HOT!!!

the SLR's brakes are really bad.......after every two laps they had to be cooled for a minute...

and the there was this.

lol, I didn't. She came across like she's something else. Like she's miss of the world, not giving a fuck about the whole car thing, like, let's get this taped and go home, lol. I think she is sexy like hell!

The first time I saw her, was in Italy on the Impreza presentation, where she acted the same way and was then the only one, that went off the track. The instructor ( a pro rally driver ) had to pull the hand brake, lol.

When they came back to the pits she just disappeared, lol. Ah, the shame....

But she is a looker and she has an ass of a goddess.

I thought the SLR's brakes were good? A minute of cooling, that's not much at all, brakes can stay hot for 30 minutes...

JC spoke about the SLR's brakes lasting longer then a Carrera GT's on track driving...

Nice pics, any SLK 55's in there?

Well, I don't know what kind of brakes JC had on the test car, lol, but the SLR is having HUUUGE problems with brakes. And I mean huge, really, the AMG department need all the help they can get.

In fact, I don't know, if you saw this in a nother topic, but my boss has connections at amg and they gave us ( my boss and his partner) an SL55 for a few months to do tests on some new ceramic brakes. This guy here in Slovenia has developed some new brakes that could fix the problem.....

Something to do with nano technologies and stuff, anyway and if they'll work, we may have a deal with AMG on our hands....

The PR people will be saying that the brakes are good, but inside there are some serious problems with them.

I aslo love that colour on the SL65 - looks HOT!!!!

Wow, another nice event coverage from komotar!

yeah, the picsize is quite small

but the cars are great, the vintage oney as well as the SLR's
IMO the black one is stunning, but the SLR shape is not visible , so the perfect color is still silvergrey

The orange CLK is spotted in several places atm (Dubai, Croatia,...)

if I understood correctly, you didn't had a ride in the SLR and CLK at the end
