First link is already 404.
I guess this should now be called Non-internal Audi Not-so-secret US Specific RS4 info?
Pretty amazing how fast it leaked, since it's dated December 6. Pretty neat document as well, I guess this is the stuff that sleazy car salesmen study?

whats the purpose of a start button? id rather put my key in, and turn the key... rather then put the key in, the push the button. its just another piece of electronics to quit working.
besides, where would my 20-oz (or euro 1/2 liter) go... my lap?

So you'd rather have automatic transmission in order to have another cup holder, don't you.

Me too, I don't care if we can't get the start engine button, but the seats and the steering wheel of the new B7 RS4 are so nice, that I know some North American quattro GmbH stuffs importers who are determined to sell these parts here.

right. That explains why I saw the RS4 Le Mans Safety Car at the CA Autoshow.

I never posted this picture because of the pathetic quality and lighting.
