Default Hillclimb videos

In this case the car has got the latest features, and because of the video quality, we are able to see even better the speed sensation, the cars sound and etcetera

http://rapidshare.de/files/6310202/2...llana.wmv.html

If someone wants to know what a group C is about....here you are a little video of it...the car in question has a 20 year old chassis with a 2.5 BMW engine....which develops about 400bhp to 11000rpm, and the car weights about 525 kilograms......if you consider that the car is only 5 seconds slower than a formula 3000 and the 20 year old chassis doesnt have any electronic aids such as the electronic traction control or the sequential gearbox, at the end of the day its as difficult to drive as a formula 3000 in a climbhill race; you can imagine...otherwise you can see the last part of the video

http://rapidshare.de/files/8716574/L..._1991.avi.html

In addition to the previous Lola T-297 video, here we go another video or another driver in a similar car and specs....although we arent able to hear the cars sound very clearly, the sound is very similar to the other Lolaīs...i think that the video gives some speed sensation furthermore...people will be able to hear some comments in basque, which probably is a new thing for many people

http://rapidshare.de/files/8717127/J...board.mpg.html

If this wasnt enough, here we go another onboard hill climb video, but in this case in a formula 1 car....if someone is able to discover in where the event is held ill appreciate a lot because i dont know about it although i guess that its in the UK

http://rapidshare.de/files/8717708/u...-1993.mpg.html

Just in order to see what the already mentioned Lola T-297 (C3) is about....here we go a similar car (a CN)....in this case, the chassis is more modern, a bit lighter, it has the sequential gearbox but it has a 3 litre Group N engine instead of a 2500 grA one...at the end of the day the lap time between the two cars is quite similar...however...the Lola is more difficult to drive because of an older chassis and a less soft engine

http://rapidshare.de/files/8717988/T...ng.hu.wmv.html

In this case the inboard video is in a rear wheel drive touring car, and actually the driver is very used to powerslide, oversteer or drifting....lets see if anyone is able to guess what the carīs brand and model is

http://rapidshare.de/files/8719447/J..._2004.wmv.html

For the moment, the last onboard video in a climbhill event.....btw....such a good video IMO....the car in question is a very properly prepared grA Renault 5 Gt Turbo (yeah...a daniīs similar stock car prepared to give it best in 3 miles)...I dont know how much horsepower it must have but about 210 bhp

Wow, great vids, thanks.
I've done a hillclimb or two in my life, but I'd never ever do them in a singleseater. Too scary ...

BTW: the guy drifting is Pepe Juan Torres, BMW 635 CSI
