Audi announces new S8 luxury sedan
Auburn Hills, Michigan – Audi has announced an upcoming sports version of its popular A8 sedan, the new S8, which will be appearing in the North American market in the Fall of 2006.
The S8 is equipped with a new V10 5.2-litre engine also used in the Lamborghini Gallardo, delivering 450 hp and 397 lb-ft of torque and electronically governed at 250 km/h. The latest-generation Quattro system sends power to all four wheels, while the sport-tuned adaptive air suspension and more direct steering ratio give the S8 a sportier feel than the A8. The standard transmission is a six-speed Tiptronic with wheel-mounted shift paddles.
Other features on the S8 will include 20-inch aluminum wheels, high-strength lightweight aluminum frame, four oval tailpipes, exterior aluminum trim, S-specific seats and LED daytime running lights.

Is it me or the large a** grill looks more acceptable in this car. But who cares, with that V10, not too many ppl will see the grill anyways.

Car looks tight. I always liked the Grill in this car, but I don't like the tic-tac-toe slots on the S models.
