Quick F1 question

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here knows what that mysterious "Z" or "N" marking on some of the F1 cars is... here it is on last season's Ferrari (just in front of the cockpit/above the Marlboro decal)

every car has it. i think its got something to do with the fire suppresion system on the cars

It is the neutral finder on the car. The intent is for the rescue team to press that button and the gearbox will be automatically switched to neutral to enable the car to be rolled/towed/pushed away to a safer spot

All cars in an approved racing series have to have an electric cut off sticker, a neutral sticker (unless its manual) and usually a button on the outside to set the fire extinguisher off if its not a single seater
