Some photos from the QLD track day, 575M, F430
hey fellas,
here are some pics i took at todays track day. they didnt turn out that nice, the detail shots were the only half decent ones. next time will be ready for some track action pics, I tried out wutputts advice, but i had my 70mm lense on, and couldnt zoom in enough, will be ready next time though . The owner of the F430 also own the 360CS i photographed and dingo got to drive last time. The car is brand new, and its doing track time, its awesome to see such a beast out on the track, and also flogging all those porshces too, they were all gemballa tuned porshces as well, no stock ones in there.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics,
cheers
shane

Nice pics of two stunning cars!!
I can't wait to see that F430 flat-out in Alice Springs next year, it looks sensational since he has lowered (by a ton).
Just for those interested, his lap time in the F430 was 1.8sec faster than his best in the CS.....but still a couple of seconds slower than the GT3.
sikx5, for the panning shots you could probably still use a slower shutter speed to get an even better sense of motion.

Glad you fellas like the pics. 8)
I really need more practise on those panning shots dingo, im going to the track next weekend too, so more photography practise and more pics of course.
I reckon those times were pretty impressive, since that was his first outing in the F430 since he just got that beast. He said he had the GT3 for 18months now and is used to pushing it to the limits. Do you think the F430 will be beat the GT3's time? I think he said the GT3 had a chip and aftermarket exhuast too?

I doubt the F430 will beat the GT3's time - he's 3.8sec off the pace at the moment. I guess some better tyres might help.....
Yep the GT3 has an ECU upgrade, exhaust , cats removed and now makes 440hp.

yeah, definately not a poser.
The GT2, GT3 and CS are all coming up for sale unfortunately - he has bigger plans (hint: 6L V12 successor to the F50..... ).
