Default Ferrari Cruise + my rides in a F355, 328 & 308.

This happened on Sunday, a bunch (7) of Ferrari owners met up for a day-long cruise down south. I had an absolute blast as I had seat time in 3 of the cars, with the 355 by far the most exciting. Its always been one of my favourite V8 Ferraris so to get a chance to spend about 70km in it was precious!

The 355 got up to 240kmh (~150mph) on a quiet country road - what a blast!!! The older cars all managed around 200kmh, but still felt perfectly in control.

So a big thankyou to all the owners - can't wait for the next run which should have another 355 and a 360 (with an F430 on the way).

All 53 high-res pics can be viewed on my website  www.ozcarsightings.com

We all met up early in the morning, had a coffee and then off we went. It was kind of fitting that the cars lineed up outside the Subaru dealer - my red WRX would have fit right in.

So off we went for a 90km drive to Mandurah, we took the scenic route through the country. I was in the 328 GTS at this stage, which I've been in many times now.

A quick stop alongside the water in Mandurah for some posing:

Then this wannabe in a BMW decided his red car would look good in the lineup......

Then came the best moment - I got to spend most of the return trip in the 1999 355 Berlinetta!

I actually did a quick photoshoot with that car at the end of the day on its own, so more pics of it to come.

OMG, another dream day for you !

skip the BMW and place the Subi there

Very nice sunny pictures, saved most of them.
The turning wheels are great

Thanks dingo for the report!

I would've taken the Subi along, but that would've meant no passenger rides in the Ferraris.

Just to clear up any confusion the only Ferrari I've driven is the Challenge Stradale, all the others have only been as passenger.

The 355 still has today one of (if not the) sexiest asses of any car.

Nice trip for sure and nice and sunny pics! Thanks a lot, too bad there were only red cars The 355 is a really nice experience. I only was passenger in one on track which is slightly different than open road, but still one of the most desirable Fcars of all time!

Thanks for the pics!

Again a really nice Ferrari experience you've had. Seems like it was a very nice trip and some lovely owners! The f355 must idd be the best experience. From the few Ferrari rides I had, the one in a f355 impressed me the most. Maybe the fact I still was a little kid may have played a roll. But I'm confident the V8 right behind your back screaming out loud a beautiful sound also has to be accounted big time for the f355's attraction.

As for the pics, quality guaranteed as always. But I'm not a fan of the non standard wheels on the 308's.

The funny thing was that the two cars who didn't turn up were a black 355 Spider and a yellow 360 Modena.
