- M5 Wagon 2006 -> I prefer they would never built it, but could be worst

- M3 2007, 425HP 4.4 Liter V8 -> This engine is way way bigger than the last M3 one :roll:

- M6 CSL Summer 2006, additional 50 HP 5.5 Liter V10 -> Finally the confirmation!!!

- M1, 320HP 3.2 Liter inline 6 (might be 2008 or 2011) -> At this time there will be another series one model for sure. This engine isn't much bigger than the 130i one but the car should look much more agressive

South Africa had for all intents and purposes what was an M7 in the 1980's.

The 745i - not the wimpy 745i the eurocrats got - but a full fledged 745i using the engine from the BMW M1.

The car's sole purpose was to homologate the big Beemer for saloon car racing - against the Audi 100 Quattro, the Ford Sierra XR8 and the Alfa GTV6, amongst others.

Where there is a will, there is a way - and where thyere is a way there is a market - it just takes balls - not unlike using guns to kill people

That was never officially an M7 though. It was a faster 7 yes, but not an M

Official scmicial... it was the fastest 7 by a long way - it was enhanced for homologaiton in saloon car racing .. it was an M engineered and coperated M7... from back in the day when BMW knew a thing or 2 about making sports cars, not these over weight over tecnho piles of crap they shit out ever year these days

Just face up to it... backwater South Africa had hotter BMW's than anywhere else for quite a while... the first 6 cylinder M3, and the 333 and the 733 and the 745.. all M enhanced.

Hell, it was the guarnetee to be able to sell every M5 they could produce in South Africa alone that spurred the Mers in Germany to go ahead and produce the M5 after much dillydalling and doubt

Regarding M7. The reason why there is no M7 is cause of weight, 7-series of today weigh to much to be honored with a M version. However, when the next 7-serie arrive a M7 is possible cause according to BMW, the car is going to use a lot of lightweight materials.

Blimey, and I was just thinking of trading in my 120 for a 130 yesterday... an M1 would seriously tempt me to wait another while
