Well, things are starting to happen with my car. She will be going in for a new colour soon and I have a 2.0 Duratec engine waiting to go in. I will be putting Brembo brakes on, but need 16s first. Therefore I am putting 280mm Ford Mondeo ST24 brakes on as temporary measure....can't have more power without better stopping ability!!

I know they have gone red, but I am lazy and I had left over red paint from the last set, also my rears are red.

Not yet! Will be on Sat if the bloody spacers arrive from Pumaspeed. The disc has to move out 3mm.

Braded lines are also going in! (visiting Merlin @ Castle Combe which you might know: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk )

I will have a progress report by the end of the weekend.

Had a play with the spare wheel; it is quite hard holding a disc, caliper and wheel in one had, while taking a photo with the other. Might explain why the disc in not central!

They are gunna look sweet mate! I think ive heard of merlin before, they run a car in british GT's i think. That cars gunna do endos when your done with it!

Ahh, second hand rims gtx - but they were very cheap lol. They are only on there for another few months. Some OZ Superleggerasare going on.

See your car is gonna be what tuned cars should be substance!! rather than huge tasteless bodykits. NOZ stickers etc. Shame on all the people who make their hatches look like that fiesta you posted the other day, gives the whole british race (well the car loving bit anyway) a bad name

There is very little changing on the outside of my car now. Different wheels to reduce unsrpung weight; hence the Superleggeras, pretty much the lighest wheels on the market without spending a fortune.

The car will probably sit a bit lower with H+R coilovers. Then it is engine time! I can't wait!

Yep, they are the lighest on the OZ range. They are also lighter than SOME Magnesium wheels. You can get lighter, but you are starting to go into serious money territory.

Back wheel is not right, but she will look like that when finished.
