“This car seems to belong in the 1990s in terms of engineering,”
|
And their point? It's not like everyone driving a car with "1990's engineering" all died instantly the moment they drove down the street.
It's a cheap car - the main reason you buy cheap cars, whether a used 1990 car or a cheap new car as good as a 1990 car is because.. yeah - you can't afford a higher priced car

I suspect that it may be banned. Cars produced today, have to meet the stricter standards of today, not 1990. Otherwise, automakers would saves billions by just building to 1990 regulations. When you buy a second-hand car, you know it's old. If you buy a new car, you would expect it to have all the new technology for keeping you safe...

Consider the car is made in China, you dont know if the internals actually came from a 1990s car. They probably imported old cars and put a new body on them You won't notice any difference, not like a new car from them would be any more reliable than a 10 year old car.
On the topic of chinese made products, you got to check out the box of my 2yrs old mp3 player (made in china of course)

I would just mumble the end, to make it sound like I'm a pimp and I drive a LandROVER...it would go like this:
"I drive a Landmrrerr. It's such a POS. I much prefer my other cars...."

yeh i'm driving basically 50's engineering and i'm fed up with people telling me its unsafe. Most of the old cars fair particularly badly when crashed against new ones, selfish cunts in their safe cars Anyway i agree any intelligent customer can make an informed decision, i.e. don't buy this heap of crap

In a head-on wreck, I'd rather be in an old Caddy from the 60s or 70s than a new Kia or Hyundai or Civic for that matter...
