Default The last thing you should see under a hood...

Is a cat sitting next to the positive jump terminal

One of my coworkers pulls in an E36 325 that rolled in on a flatbed because the engine control unit got wet and was causing the car to run funny. He revs the engines a few times after pulling it into his stall to make it act up, which it wastes no time in doing. He opens the hood to pull out the ecu and is greeted by a a skinny little cat sitting in the back right corner of the engine compartment.

It sat there long enough to realize the hood was up then took a flying leap over the engine and hauled ass across the shop into the Mercedes side and lodged himself behind the tire rack After a few minutes, our foreman finally got to the cat and yanked the little bastard out. Fortunately he was wearing thick leather gloves because i think his hands would have been skinned if he wasn't.

Moral of the story: BMW attracts all kinds of pussy

Seriously though, always be prepared to encounter some kind of animal under the hood of your car

hahaha, that cat didn't give anyone enough time to realize what it was, let alone let someone get a picture of it if it's still hiding where it was when i left i'll get a pic of it.

considering the fact that it tried to piss on everyone when our foreman yanked him out of the tire rack, yeah. Theres no telling how long the poor little thing had been under that hood. We had it in a box for most of the day thinkng it belonged to the owner of the car but tried letting it go when they said they didn't own a cat. it refused to come out of the box and mounted a noisy protest when dumped out.

and mules, this probably is NOT the first time this has happened.

Haha....funny story, good to see the cat survived.

Didn't the owner even think to open the hood to at least have a quick look, for something obvious maybe?

Oh and why do you guys want pics, can't you imagine what a cat in an engine bay looks like?
