Sept 29 - In Depth Maserati Gransport
Already time for a new "in depth" feature, and one our komotar will enjoy I guess... it's about Maserati, about the Gransport, which is a superb machine!
I don't have much time to talk about it, but it's definitely a fast and comfy car! The cambiocorsa tranny is a bit harsh maybe, but if you put it in "sissy" mode it isn't that bad. In sport mode it agress you, you can feel the tires always on the limit and the rear axle beeing really abused. The car seems to stick very well to the road, with our without traction control (dry tarmac). The soundtrack is mind blowing, not as agressive as a Ferrari, but definitely top stuff and makes heads turn everywhere you go!
I sat at the back and boys, I am not that tall (170 cm), but it's REALLY comfy, you are well cocooned, you have leg room and all. Would be ok for long travels too I bet!
You might not like the decals, but IMO they are cool, and anyway, beeing a demo car...
Well, enought talking, let's see the pics right?
Click any of them to find the full 26 high-res pics update

This is the same one that was at an event a few months ago?
Looks brutal, love the red calipers against the black exterior. Thanks

Yep, same car. It is for sale now (8000 km). We are aiming at a Quattroporte for a future feature let's cross our fingers, it would rock

the steamy carwash pic is cool, thanks for another in depth review
It's a hot showcar, I lke the decals, the red brackes and red logo on the rims together with the black car
Do you think, 1.87m would fit in the back ? If not, I would have to be on the driver seat
Nice background for shooting the car!

Thanks definitely it seems I am not the only one who loves the red/black combo and the decals!
IMO 1.87 is a bit too much for the back seats.. maybe ok if the driver or other front passenger is 1.20 so he will have his seat full moved to the front
Seriously, you will hit the ceiling all the time. On bumpy roads in full attack mode I was hitting it quite often too
As for the background, for once we had some more time to find different location. I especially liked that building with the blue inserts. And BTW, beside that building there was the small garage where I spotted the M1 (one of my last updates).. and guess what, instead of the M1 they now have F40 + CGT combo in there

Hey I just noticed you are still able to use caps in your topic title - damn mod privilages! My title looks shit with all the lowercase letters.....
(I've already had a sob to Dan about it, I'm nearly over it now)

Actually I just took 2 pics LOL. It was Sunday evening and the shop was in fact closed.. but the owner was there with his 3200GT and the fact we arrived in a Gransport helped a little in taking a pic of the showroom but I didn't want to push it too far and anyway the place is pretty small :bah:
i tried to send them an email and ask if they will take the car outside one day to let me know, but no answer to date :bah:

Lovely car that GranSport. But I don't like the rims on this one. Is it just me, or do they look too blingy bling? Though the rest of the cars look hot and the pics are great. Thanks for the few detailed pics; especially the one of the wheels with the red calipers and red Maser logo is superb!
Brilliant combo as well, the colours of the black CGT and red F40 match really well on the pics! I hope we don't have to wait too long before we'll be able to see the rest of this sexy combo
