I like it, especially when you filter out all concept car gimmicks.
I don't like the rear wing, looks a little bit cheap

Remember, it's hust a Concept; depending on reaction to the public, we may see little to none of these design cues. Ronin is right, that front end does remind me of the Challenger drawing. First thing that struck my eye on this car is that there are some similarities design-wise to the Renault Laguna.

Both, the Concept X and the Sportback are impressive, from the rear it resembles Alfas, don't it?

That's the best looking Lancer I've ever seen.

Crap. Here I was saving up to get an M3 come 2007, and Mitsubishi throws this in my face...

That new M3 better be cracking 4.5 seconds to the 60, or I'm going for the rally car.

If they produced it and if I had the money, I"d buy one immediately. Then probably regret it later on cos i want somethign else or something. But it's awesome.

Looks like an aston bonnet and lights at first glance. The rear 1/3 looks like a Honda.

but hey, cars these days have features that look like one car or the other.

Are you comparing a M3 with a Lancer? This car will be great (if it's ever produced) but with the M3 you've good quality... and a wow factor that the Lancer doesn't have.
I wish I could say that M3 still has a wow factor here... but it's so common in the UK that people no longer notice it.

In fact, that's one of the reasons why it appeals to me... people know it's an M3, but no longer see it as a show-off car because it's so common, like the Mini Cooper S, but they do know it's a good car.

Keep in mind that a top-spec stock Evo X would be in the regions of £30k here, whilst an M3 would be about £40k. £10k could get me another car... a new Renault Clio in fact.
