Concorso Italiano - 8/19 - 250/288GTO, 959, Lambos, F-cars
This is an an event celebrating Italian cars as the name suggests ... it was the real deal with probably every Italian Make represented.
There seemed to be atleast 500+ cars of Italian extraction with a separate corrall set up for the German Interlopers - BMW, Porsche/Ruf.
I had an awesome day and saw for the first time in my life a Daytona, 250 GTO, 288 GTO, Porsche 959, Miuras (enjoy TT!) and some other awesome cars. Now these may be everyday sightings for Mr. Double-T but in the US they count as really rare sightings ... I feel really privileged.
Here are the pics ... I will be continuously updating them today when I get them all sorted out on my laptop ...
Pls excuse the dark circle around some of the images - I am still learning about my new filter for my camera .
Ferrari 250 GTO

Ferrari 288GTO - my all-time fave Ferrari - I was jumping up and down when I saw this sexy beast

Porsche 959 - extremely rare in the US as it couldnt be legally imported till the legislation was changed a few years ago after a lot of lobbying from guys like Bill Gates ...

Lamborghinis - group shots first followed by indiv pics

This pic has the concept car with the Lambo Chief Designer in it - at least according to the guy standing next to me

Amazing! The 250 GTO in silver is always sexy!
The Miura lineup is to die for
And already the Gallardo SE there ! got any pics of the back?
I also love the rosso metis Murcielago and Gallardo!
And finally, amazing to see already a Superamerica on Dubs
BTW, at such big event even the visitors' parking should hide some nice stuff but I never seen pics taken there, these past years...

That's an amazing event, whit some superb looking cars
The cars are nicely parked per model. Great to take some good combo shots. The silver 250 GTO is a very nice sighting, as is the 288 GTO. Didn't knew the Gallardo SE is already being delivered!
Thanks for the pics.

This Car show was very diversified at the level of supercars range. Despite the show was for celebrating Italian cars, the Porsche 959 is my favorite car of the bunch !
Thanks for those pix sameerrao.
