Default RAID Suisse-Paris: 300SL, Montreal, SLR, Stratos, MC12, Enzo

I finally decided to post them right now, I already sorted them out and edited them (82 pics out of 200+ taken )

That was a really nice day, sunny and hot for once, and in Basel (north-west of switzerland - german speaking part for those who didn't know) it's quite rare, I had never seen that before, it was always cloudy/rainy when I went there

Of course the local ferrari dealer (Hasler AG, already went there last year) had to be there ... they brought only 4 cars ... worth 2 millions € together

As you can see, looks like they don't give a fuck about photographers

A nice alfa romeo

There was a little open air area in the middle of the builing (stunning Stratos  )

Then I saw where all the cars which were supposed to take part to this event were parked ... again, a nightmare where the word "night" takes all his sense : a dark area in the building, neons everywhere, cars standing 10cm from each other ... LMAO definitely I have no luck those days Well, I just decided to wait until they start the rally

I was walking around the cars when I noticed something strange, modern cars in the middle of that event, wtf, turned out they had a little VIP party the day before and they brought some nice cars which were still there (god bless the pocket tripod, a few pictures were fucked up (grey spyker, F430 spider - a bit too blurry for me) but it could have been worse)

Various cars spotted around the event ...

Finally, pics of the RAID

Awesome event and very good pictures! The two Khamsin are so sexy! The De Lorean is unbelievably exotic and "back to the future"! I want to see one and that 300SL

Thanks a lot!

Yep I understand oldies aren't always successful here but recently I started to love a few of them, the red BMW 507, 300SL, the two Khamshin, Dino, alfa montreal and that impressive Mustang Mach 1

You probably noticed a green paper in front of a 4200GT passing by; looks like there was another rally yesterday, I've seen a few old RR's and some brand new maseratis with that green thing

BTW, the most amazing piece of crap I've ever seen, some kind of an old 911 with a weird body kit, the front looks like a bmw Z1 or some Koenig kit for Ferrari's but all together it's just FUGLY

Before talking about your post, here's probabely the answer to the green paper

There was a Concours d'Elégance

Thanks for the information, I hadn't heard about it

Let me add this beautiful Alfa Romeo, I first thought it was too dark and noisy to be posted but then I decided to work a little bit with the curves and to use neat image

Great pictures !
As above already said, I like the F40,F50,MC12,Enzo pics, awsome pics (nice reflection of the hall lights)

The "new" cars were part of the "by invitation only" Premium Car Show
http://www.raid-suisse-paris.ch/sommer/show.php on Wednesday, lucky you could get pics form there

- SLR in motion, 8)
- Thanks for the MB SL cars, I missed them in Zürich
- De Lorean, very rare!

Thanks for the coverage of the start.

The Ferrari dealer only brought 4 cars, that isn't even wort mentioning...
 Titanium coloured Enzo, MC12, F40 and F50. Just stunning. No extr apics of this quartet?

As for the event itself, a very nice collection of vintage cars, you won't see on the road often. Thanks for sharing the pics!

The F40 was 3 meters away from the others, so no pics of the quartet, just one other pic of the row, you can easily understand why I did not take hundreds of pics
