Yep it's the SU 37 with the canards and TVC (Thrust Vectored Control).
Damn the first landing is short and slow
And what about the flip or the horizontal cobra!!!

Nope man , in the first half of the video it`s an SU 35 , with number 709 , that doesn`t have TVC , just look at the nozzles when it does Pughachev`s Kobra.
On the second part we have the SU 37 , number 711 meaning prototype 11 of the SU 35 , but modified to host those Saturn Lyulka
engines fitted with TVC.
The SU 37 was flown only by Colonel Yevgheny Frolov , Sukhoy`s best test pilot.

i saw that video when they showed it on discovery channel a while back in the Paris Airshow, the reporter said that Yevgheny Frolov challenge every body to a dogfight against the SU37, but no one took the challenge.

Well no wonder. In a dog fight I dont see any other playing out manuvering him.
F15 would struggle
anything else would struggle but the Raptor I guess, but its to early for the raptor.

If you havn't heard the story yet, during the war games an Edwards an F-22 went up against 5 F-15's and all 5 F-15 were shot down before they ever picked up the F-22. All they could see was a blotch on the radar screen every once in awhile. I think the fight lasted a total of 20-25 seconds. Who needs a dog fight when you have a Raptor? Great vid with two great rugged planes, i wonder if any of those pilots were sober, haha.

Yep in this world of electronic and missile, dog fights are obsolete. Modern missile would eat the most maneuverable plane (Su 35, 37...) for breakfast...

^^^ each fighter jet has a device called ECM from electronic counter measures , that jamms incoming missiles .
so , if this guys put so much work in TVC technology , they most certainly know that the dog fight era it`s not quite a thing from the past

Not quite.
Missle evasion is not that hard if you see it coming at you. If you see it coming at you it means the fight is over a distance, hence not a dog fight.
When the missle is about 2km 1.5km in front if you you pull your stick hard, pull of a 9g manuver drop some chaff and flare and your safe.
Still the most effective way to kill somebody is in close combat/dogfight.
Plus if you cant manuver your plane well then your definetly screwed because evasion would be hard.
Oh and as for the 117 and Raptor Ukrainians made a radar that sees them, and was selling them to middle East. But that would require support of GIS/AWACS. So that would mean only SAMS are able to take stealth planes down.

In video games maybe, but in real life the new missile have a great range, clever radars (more than one tracking system) and have vectorial trust as well (not the exhaust but on the sides).
