Default VW W12 Nardo, Audi Avantissimo, Diablo GT, Miura and more...

The last couple of days i´ve been at the "Autostadt" in Wolfsburg, the city where most VWs are build. They have a huge car museum with many prototypes aswell. I took alot of pics and i think some of them are worth sharing with you guys. Unfortunately some of them are a bit dark cause the flash of my digicam wasn´t strong enough ops:

Bentley Arnage Mulliner :

Bentley Le Mans Car:

Bentley Hunaudieres (16 Cylinder Prototype):

VW W12 Nardo (A High Speed Prototype for the Nardo Track in Italy):

VW Touareg W12 (Only 900 were build if I remember correctly):

Lamborghini Miura:

Lamborghini Countach:

Lamborghini Diablo GT:

Audi Sport Quattro:

Audi Avantissimo Prototype (An Avant with the size of an A8 ):

I'll use some smileys to express my feelings:

Miura Diablo GT :shock: Quattro

Must have been an awesome visit. I've seen pics taken from the sky of Autostadt and it really looks impressive!

It´s indeed a dream for car enthusiasts to visit the Autostadt. Many oldtimers aswell. I´ve got some pics from some old Bentleys and more. If you want i can post them too but i first wanted to share more modern cars

Is it still possible to come very close to those cars? I visited Autostadt in its first year and you could stand next to all cars, even the prototypes.

Did you also visited the official VW-museum at the dieselstrasse? It is worth a visit, lots of VW prototypes and other rare VWs.

This museum seems really interesting. I particularly like the W12 Nardo, the Avantissimo and naturally the red Sport Quattro. Thanks martin100 to shared your visit.

@redbaron
No i haven´t been in the official VW museum. Didn´t even know they had a separated one cause they got anything i can think of in the Autostadt...

@budagboy2
The Touareg has nearly the same stats as the Phaeton W12, but the engine is a bit stronger: 6.0 litre W12 engine,450bhp, 600nm of torque, 0-62mph around 6sec.

Those cars are really breathtaking, fantastic collection you have photographed there.

The URquattro is more than 20 years old, but still is a fantastic roadcar so so nice.
I think that these pictures prove once again how big the VW-group has become.

About the Touareg W12; If my short term memory serves me well ... I think that only 500 W12's have been made, I heard this in a video I downloaded from draak666's server. They said that 350 have gone to Saudi Arabia and the rest for Europe.

Cheers
