Default TV Auto commentators quite ill-informed

Any one else watch Barrett-Jackson and other "car shows", auto races etc and notice how much bullshit these "pros" spew on air?

I am not a football or baseball fan, so when I watch a sports show or a game broadcast, the many words the commentators regurgitate need to clue me in on the facts - not rumours and falsehoods.

So I watch thinking I am getting accurate opinion and information, yet if the sports guys are as clueless as the Auto guys then no wonder falsehoods and fake info is propagated around the world.

The automotive show folks are really not well informed or accurate - sad really.

I know that many people get "all their info" from the media, and never do self-study - but you would expect the people "paid" to speak would be more accurate.

^^ So far it seems Animal Planet seems to be the most accurate nature channel.

My 7 year old reads like crazy - and loves the sea and nature etc and sometimes on Discovery animal shows she will come ask me why the TV said this - but her big "Se Life Beneath the North Atlantic " says the opposite...

BUt see yelps with joy when the Animal Planet quotes info she knows... hehe

RC, what kind of things are you talking about? I haven't been paying much attention to the Barret-Jackson auction or SPEED in general, save the F1 races (which are rarely inaccurate in their commentary ) so i'm not quite sure what they have fucked up on this time

u should see how we suffer in mexico, auto commentators are just the worst of the worst with exception of few ones, but every show we have is just lame and lacking of good info and good infromed journalists.
