And for the fourth time in history, the race was won by the University of Michigan's solar car team. They averaged 46.2mph for the whole distance, something which is fairly impressive considering Canada isn't exactly flat and sunny all the time. 2500 miles in 53 hours 59 minutes and 43 seconds. Now it's on to the World Solar Challenge in Australia in September where Umich has placed 3rd behind two professional (not college) teams in the last years.
GO BLUE!!!!
