Best non-i-pod MP3 player?
So what is the best non-apple mp3 player? I need as large an HD as possible, and dont care if its a color screen or any of that. What MP3 players offers the most space for the buck?
Thanks.

Well both iRiver and Apple are expensive. Dell has a 30gig for $239. Apple and iRiver both charge $299 for only 20 gig.
Anyone know any larger and cheaper than dell?

I personally like the creative zen. It looks so cool, but the iRiver one is nice.

I would by a Creative product just because they've been in the audio business for a long time.

Creative also have a Nomad, retails for about $280, 60 GB
That's the largest capacity available right now AFAIK

Yeah I had a very nice Sony MD player I bought in 1999 for $400. It was pretty cool but back then they could not play MP3 disks. That would be nice but I still would not want to mess with the disks even if they can hold a gig of MP3s.

I always liked my Creative Zen, untill I dropped it on the ground pretty hard so it was destroyed... Got the money back, but used them all on a party-trip to denmark...

I was on the European presentation of the new/facelifted Mazda 6 near Pisa and all the journalists got presents. It was an Iriver MP3 player. N10. 256mb.
A cool thingy. My first one. I use it almost every day. Allthough it's a bit short
on the memory part, it's enough fr now.
