It was just parked and stated burning ... The owner doesn't want to tell everybody what happened before all the insurance mess is solved :bah:

Funny thing is that everything burnt apart from a Michelin map which was at the back of the car ^^

well if this is true then theres a good chance that the car was probably moded with something (NOS) which caused the fire and the insurance sure wouldnt pay if that was the case.

and man, this is the first time i see the clio v6 in black and i dont like it one bit, looks very bland in black.
id doubt it was nos cus the car doesnt seem to have completely blown up.

The car just came back from a few laps on the track, it only had 4000km ... IMO it wasn't equipped with NOS

The fire also could've started because of some electronic problems/oil on the engine or whatever, the thing is that it would've been very hard to extinguish it because the car is middle-engined and you could easily imagine how much space is left when you put a 3 liters V6 engine at the back of such a small car :bah:

As we can see in the pictures, they used a few extinguishers but it was useless ...

I'll be looking for more informations

Sad to see this happening. I hope the owner was insured well.
One remark though. It would have been better not to open the boot lid and doors at the same time.

Hmm, right he probably doesn't want everybody to know that he had some hand-made special exhausts or some extreme stuff

Sad to say but the pictures turned out great indeed
I doubt the author will post some high res but I'll keep an eye open...

This is saaaaad topic same happend in that Golf video posted some time ago here on the board.
Seen same thing on the road in Prague, the car(no tuning, normal car) started to smoke under the hood on the lights(he was standing on red light) and in 5 minutes it burned out completely... I think I was telling that story already before dejavue?

I hope he had it insured 8)

BTW beautiful but sad pics, the owners heart probably was bleeding to see it
