JW GTR Hot Lap Competition
I know it's only few of us who race GTR on JW but still I think it could be good fun. Anybody interested? We can share setups and give advice etc...
If there is any interest what track do you guys want to do first?
Again, this is all for good fun, if your dead slow in GTR, post your time, I or someone else will help you out.
Just a track of top of my head would be the ring, which I never really ran a fast lap on.
The rules are: No Driving Aids except Auto Clutch.
Nordschleife:

Hmm, seems like I need to reinstall GTR as soon as possible.
I had a shitload of VERY nice setups, but lost them when my PC crashed... Just gimme some time to organize everything back again and I'll enter this. 8)
Just to give me an idea, what's your best time around Enna, Brno and the Nordschleife?

But then again, with my shitty times, that's hardly an achievement.
On a serious note, I need another wheel. My MOMO hasn't aged that well... I get Self-Centering even with it disabled both on the Profiler and on the .plr... And it increases with the FFB - if I have around 45%, I get no Self-Centering; anything above 60, and it feels like I'm driving a truck...

I dont have an NS time for you. I honestly stopped looking at my times 2 years ago The hard core hot lapping game just takes too much time. BTW I cant stand Enna....bloody oval shite...
Here are some times of top of my head.
Donington: 1:27:low
Spa: 2:11:high
Brno 1:56(I have very few laps there, only raced it online)
hm what else....
Fiorano: 1:12
Oschers: 1:24 I think
Anyway none of those were intended hot laps, and all of them were set with a fully manual H pattern gearbox and clutch pedal.

alex, i was wondering where the MC12 car pack might be located... by the way, are you basing your NS time from the Zurich 24 hour track... im almost finding myself compleating a single lap w/out crashing (after so many hours with in car footage, PGR2, GT3's NS... im really good, until i goof it up, and crash ops: taking the lines right, and brake points, and you seriously fly through the course!
off the top of my head..
spa: 2:17 is my best... and only once, my general laps there are around 2:21
donington... i never really liked that course for some reason, it felt clostraphobic

Yep same track. I too crash a lot, Im just to eager to finish the lap so the stop watch strarts clicking...you need a lot of patience for NS.
As for the MC12 you can find it on race sim central or ask RC45. I never really downloaded it since it's 3rd party so the physics are most definetly wrong plus its a very high poly model and takes a big hit on FPS.
