Marcos Mantis Exclusive + Other British Sportscars

I had a nice birthday treat this morning, I got access to a Marcos Mantis by the owner who was really nice, he let me get in and take pictures... its also not easy to get into, until today, the hardests cars i've ever been in and out of are the Elise, VX220 and Bowler Wilcat, but this beats them all! its so hard

anyway, here are the pictures, i've spent the time blanking his plates because he was so nice, hope you enjoy them as much as I did seeing the car today 8)

Wow, some amazing sightings! I never knew a Mantis would be so hard to get into.
Great to see a Ginetta spotted. You rarely see those on the roads. And I love the Cobra's (probably replicas, since there are more replicas as real ones) and the Chimaera.

Nice pics, and BTW, both Cobras aren't "real" ones. As the experts would tell, the gearlever isn't "right".. too modern looking.. and the fuel cap shouldn't be in the middle

You're absolutely correct, I'm quite sure that the vehicle with the snorkels on the rear clamshell is a CAV GT with the MKII rear end option. The other vehicle is probably a GTD40, though it might also be a CAV. In any case, you can tell it's a replica because the NACA ducts on the front end are blocked off (it's a fiberglass bodyshell, so whoever put it together decided not to open them up), and because the exhaust system has 4 pipes from each bank of the engine directed straight into 2 separate exhaust pipes rather than the traditional, "cross-over" setup that the real GT40s used.
