can anyone get me the descriptions for the following flashcodes on a 1993 Mazda 626? My ex has it at AAMCO right now and has a list of codes they gave her, but haven't diagnosed the issue yet.

Codes:
56 (i think this one is just signaling the start of the codes, but i'm not sure)
60
61
62
63
64
65

Her dad's mechanic (who i told her to keep the car away from, now her A/C doesn't work :roll: ) is saying her stalling problem is being caused by the transmission, but the only thing that would be causing that would be the lockup clutch in the torque converter. He told them that he thought it was going to need a new trans but wasnt sure (big surprice) so it's at AAMCO (finally she listens to me) right now awaiting it's electrical diagnosis.

I could possibly get them for you tomorrow at school. Do you have access to Alldata at work? they have that stuff listed.

i know that 63 is the o2 sensor, i replaced it on my 95 626, i used to have a haynes manual for it but the car was totaled over a year ago so its now gone. So id suggest going and buying one. also to check these codes yourself is very very simple. you just have to jump 2 hole under the diagnosis cap under the hood and turn the ignition key.

the car is in california

@T-bird- No i don't have access to alldata

if you could check them and then email them to me though, that would be great.

well 63 is definitely NOT an O2 sensor on a '93 I can tell you that.
Good news Z she won't need to buy a new tranny. I'm emailing you the details now.

it was just a connector that "worked" itself loose. It controled the 7 shift solenoids. 7 solenoids+7 Codes = a bad mechanic :x

both of us + AAMCO suspect her dad's mechanic of being an idiot
