Cadillac SRX
I have heard some great things about this car. 315 horsepower....smallish SUV...cept it looks nothin like an SUV. i saw one on the road yesterday. IT is a wagon. there is no doubt about it. sorry i dont have ne pics but if ne one does then feel free to post. what does everyone think about it? also its in direct comparison with the FX45(to me thats the obvious choice, based on styling) ive heard that caddy rides like a dream. whats everyone else think???

i think it looks too much like a crossover vehicle, kind of like the chrysler pacifica??
i am not a huge fan of cadillac and i would definatly take the infiniti FX45 over this anyday, the fx45's styling a whole lot better and it is supposed to handle like a soprts car and the best of all it is made by nissan.
too me the cadillac SRX is a station wagon for the 21st century.

GM quality sucks - for the price, Benz, BMW or even Lexus or Infiniti are 10000000 times better.
Including resale value and after sales service.

Pretty much looks like a CTS wagon... and having driven the "top of the range" CTS - I can tell you it is tacky at best.
GM is the worlds largest company and largest car maker because they are the Wal-Mart of the Auto industry - they just sell more shit than anyone else.

Yikes!
RC45 is right. Here in Europe GM (except Saab) means crap too. I can't explain how deep my hatred for Opel/Vauxhall is.

you got to love the carlton lotus omega tho, its buildt on the ugly omega but stil it looks kinda angry and brutal.
yes I know its not an ordinary opel/Vauxhall with its corvette gearbox and tuning by lotus but still.....
|
Well I wasn't really counting the upgraded models by Lotus. The Lotus Omega, although still butt ugly as a regular Omega, is a brutal car. It doesn't handle like an Opel either. Same with the Speedster/VX220. I don't really consider that an Opel.

Not by much - $75,000 for the XLR, $65,000 for the SC430 and $85,000 for a base SL500... after 5 years the SL will still be worth$50 or $60,000 - while the XLR will probably be worth $20K if you are lucky.
Priced a Suburban or Yukon lately? They are creeping towards $50K -
Priced a Caddy CTS? $33K - that is right there with the IS300...
The list is endless..

Ill take a Acura MDX, before i buy some crap ass GM SUV. I sat in a Escalade at the local Caddy dealer, and they are not worth the price at all. Niether is the XLR, which i sat in. Both Plastic POS, huge gap between interior controls. Best american SUV if you ask me is the Navigator. its like riding on air.
