Default Jun 29, Ford GT, Murci Roadster, SLR, CGT, SL65, Elise etc

OK Today I went to Fox Valley Motorcars i.e. Chicago Lamborghini
well when I got there I saw about 20 Lotus Elises and various other nice cars...

first thing the traditional Lamborghini wall with a Murcielago and Gallardo

next a nice Tubi for a Murcielago (only $7000 usd installed)

next we have this beautiful Diablo 6.0 VT (last one imported to the US)

Now this nice Shelby 427 Cobra

Ford GT delivery miles only supposedly all problems fixed. I asked if all the recall work was done and he said it was produce after all that.

now some stuff outside...

A Qvale you don't see these too often in the US.

A nice pair of 993 Turbo's the silver convertible had some nice BBS rims aswell.

A nice Bentley Red Tag

The exact one I would buy if I had the $46K to blow on it. Lotus Elise

Nice C55

A Ferrari 456 GTA with some nice HRE's

Gallardo with the glass engine cover.

Nice color combo on this Gallardo

Now this beauty a Murcielago Roadster.

Nice Gallardo with color matched rims on the way back.

OK after that trip I thought I should see what MotorWerks had and well...

A Porsche Carrera GT in black!

Then I turned around and there was this bitch, Alpina Z8.

Next I see this over in the next showroom, A Black SLR!

just to humor it an E55. They had an S55, C55, CLK55, SL55 sadly no SLK55 or G55.

Oh they had this Maybach 57 aswell.

And the next "special car" a debadged SL65!

oh this is a shot of the dealer as I pulled out to use my last pic.

There were many top notch cars at both of these places but only after I left did I realize I had only a 32MB card with me so I had to sacrifice some guality since I finally sat down and figured this camera out further. And I couldn't take pics of the "normal cars" like the few 360's and a testarossa, all the AMG 55's, an old M5 etc... I will be returning soon and with a stop over to Lake Forest Sports Cars in the same day.

Cool, I wish there were some dealers like that in New Orleans!

Never seen a Gallardo with the clear engine cover, looks pretty cool. Those Elises must be popular if they have that many. Out of all those I'd take the black CGT.

Thanks for the pics, but what's up with your camera? All the pics seem overexposed and a lot of light coming in, lot of grain and bad contrast. I am talking about the ones took outside. Did you maybe set it manually for inside pics and forgot to put back on auto mode? Yes I know, I always moan, but while it is a bit normal to have "bad" pics inside without a tripod, it is weird outside

You know I think I might have done that ops:
Afterall this is just a camera for taking quick candids etc... but I'm about half way to having a nice SLR then we'll be in business.

That's a really nice dealership. Love the Cobra, the 993 Turbo's, the black CGT and the black SLR. Those Qvale's aren't only rare in the US, they are also rare in Europe I never saw one of those on the roads. Great sighting!

What a number of nice cars you saw !

Thanks dude for the pictures. The black SLR is awesome.

I assume you uploaded the pictures without any "postprocessing"'
The quality of the pics could be improved with just a little adjustment of brightness, contrast, ... I did to samples with the simple PhotoEditor from MS, clicking AutoAdjust (which change the brightness, the contrast and the gamma) and the result is:

Keep up sharing these nice cars !
