Default Pics of a modified Porsche that belongs to a friend of mine

A few years ago, a friend of mine parked his modified (restored) Porsche in my parents garage. He left it there for a year, and then drove it to his home in France.

Some of these pics were taken with the car in the garage, others were taken when I drove with him to France (the blue car being my old SLK, now replaced by another car).

I thought I'd share the pics for the 'community' The Porsche was quite dirty after one year in the garage, let's hope he's managed to make it street legal (he did quite a bit of restoration work on it, with an all leather interior, a swappable 350 to 500hp engine, and rims/brakes/suspensions and a sound kit), but due to Swiss law, he wasn't allowed to drive it as it wasn't quite legal back then...

Sorry, can't remember what type of Porsche it was (I'm not all that good with the number system used by the company). Fans will know what it is

Anyway, without further chat, here goes:

P.S. Yes, that's me in one of the pics... aged about 25.

Porsche 982 S4/GT/GTS (kinda hard to tell after all that's been done to it)...i personally like it better original, especially the headlights...

It's a late 928, maybe even a 928 GT. Overall I think the modifications look pretty good, except the headlights that I find a bit odd. I dig the Ferrari inspired gearleaver.. Two very nice cars. Thanks for the pics..

There were two engines, one which developed 500hp out of 5 liters. That's all the technical data I had on it. Not streetlegal due to over powerful "sport" brakes which apparently shouldn't go on the car. My friend was like "but with 500hp you NEED those brakes", but the local car office just told him 'no'...

I like the headlights like this, gives it a different look from other Porsches, more character. Oh well... I should call him and see if he still has the car.
