Default Ferrari's are out in force today....

I got a phone call very early this morning, my boss told me not to come into work today!! Wohoooooooo, then he finished......go to Oxford to meet a client. So I Drove round the M25 towards Oxford, following a Yellow 355. I was behind it for about 3/4 hour, then he got bored and pissed off into the distance. Then I got onto the M40, sitting on the inside lane was a 360 spider, in black! It looked stunning. Man, I was luckly, following two Ferrari's in one journey! I left at lunchtime, I did not see anything interesting for ages, then in my mirror I saw something red.....very red! It was a 355GTS, he was crusing at about 90mph, so I joined him. He stayed on the M25 all the way to the A21, which was nice, as I only had to get to the A20 (the next junction). So on my trip to oxford and back, I was not in the company of a Ferrari for around 3/4hr! If only every journey was as good as that. If I had known that I was going to see so many Ferrari's then I would have taken a camera.

Anyway, I have to get the train into work not, I wounder if there will be any Ferrari's in the railway lol 8)

Great story...thats just how I feel on such journeys....they can turn an otherwise crap journey into one that you almost never want to end

LOL. That kind of company makes motorway driving fun! Three in a day is a lot...

My dad had an F40 blow past him a while ago. He spotted it from far away, so he was just in time to get the windows down This type of behaviour runs in the family I guess...

I totally understand how you felt! Over the summer I visited Thailand, geat place to party and have fun. Beautiful beaches, and all that, but the bus ride with the tour guide from point A to point B could have been the most boring experience of my life, until a red 360 just flew by on the freeway! By then, I was swearing to myself that Thailand did not have any cars worth looking at, and then, it just flew by! The thing that made it most amazing was the fact that the Thai government cared less about people speeding; no annoying speed cameras, not polices, nothing. So I guess this guy was having the time of his life just blowing by us with a hot chick sitting in the passagner seat. Lucky bastard... Hot car, hot chick, in a tropical paradise...

great story . such a thing can make long boring journeys very enjoyable. I once saw 5 Ferraris in one day, but that was because I was driving to, and then back from, Maranello

A great day for you I see

And...

If I had known that I was going to see so many Ferrari's then I would have taken a camera.
Well, from now on, never go out w/o it

i get that feeling every time i see an SL, not too often but i've seen quite a few. I see one, my jaw drops and i drool and marvael at that lovely german masterpiece.

the first time i saw it on the road  i nearly gave my mom a heart attack, it was on the NJ turnpike and we were heading home from a memorial day weekend trip and i look at the passenger side mirror and see that distinct grill and 3 point star. it was comin past us very fast, 75-80mph then it blew past us and i yealled, THE SL   THE SL!!!!!!!!!!! It was about 1 or 2 months after it came out and the top was down. we couldn't even keep up he starting flyin up to 90mph, then i just kept lookin til the silver sl500 disappeared.

another time i saw a bentley arnage T, i was walkin home and about to cross the street when out the corner of my eye i saw a car comin so i stopped at the crub. when i looked at it i was in shock again, i never seen a bentley on a street before so this was like lookin at a unicorn. i saw the "B" on the wheel caps and looked inside then it was gone.

just last month i saw a very new 360 spyder in red, a turbo in black, and a blue maserati all in about 30 seconds. Unfortunatly, they were going in every direction i wasnt never been able to follow a sweet car, but i can imagine how good ur day was!

i was thinkin about how i saw an SL, I SAW...AN SL. it def made my day, to see it withy the top down and speed past, it stayed with us for a while then speed past us.

then on another occasion having that bentley almost roll me over also left me in awe. i WILL have a heart attack if i saw the Zonda, sobeautiful, so rare and so fast.
