Default May 1st: Porsche / Ferrari meeting!!

It happened Sunday morning, before going to the Lambo open doors again.
I had a contact with one of the organizers wich suggested me to meet him and some other members on the way since the meeting was in a pretty hard to find location!

And here is what I found when arriving at the rendez-vous point:

Two sweet Testarossa for a start, side by side, with marvellous mountains allaround

And a couple Porshes too

After a while, some more ppl arrived and then we were on our way. To follow two testarossa for 30 km is pure joy, and they were quite heavy with their right feet I can tell you

And here are the pics from the meeting: the cars were on display for a while and then they left for a joyride.. I took the pics and left myself to reach Affolter again

The Porsches first since it was mainly a Porsche meeting

Isn't this Speedster just SWEEEET?

Not sure what this car is. I found some infos on the net about a 964 RS 3.8, but really not sure about the look and the wing could be just added to a regular bodykitted Carrera

Marvellous C4S

Not a Gemballa Gt3 like I first though by seeing the front.. just a Carrera with some sort of Gemballa tuning. For sure it sounded different

This was a nice stock GT3

One of the stars of the show for sure, a nice 996TT with Techart kit

As for the Ferraris, nothing special but still, a 355 is always great!

And the second one was a Challenge one

A couple of 360

Sweet Dino! Luckily nobody behind it!!

That's it, you can find 72 pics on my website by clicking those previews

This month I will never make it inside my 80 GB bandwidth limit! 8 GB were already burned in the first 48 hours because of the Lamborghinis!!!

Enjoy them!

next update will be Affolter day 2.. Diablo GT (twice), Miura, Miura Jota, Diablos and all the rest

Sensational pics TT - absolutely great!

Was that an official meeting or was it related to the lambo open doors event?

Nope it is not related. it is called Concentr'Arçcon. Arçon beeing the village were it was held. it's a small meeting started by Marcel, this farmer living there. This year was the third edition and it is definitely growing fast! I think the first time they had 20 cars while this time they were for sure more than 70!

I attended it mainly because I already told that guy that I will go and also because it is roughly on the road to Porrentruy

Only the 5 you see on my website. Between sun angle and other cars, it wasn't possible to find many more possible shots :bah:

Actually all the ppl you see in the pics are either owner or passengers. Beside me there were probably max 20 curious.. simply because you will never find that place if not because you were following an orange Speedster or whatever.. the other curious were ppl living in the small village nearby

Very nice pictures, TT! Too bad there were so few Ferraris present. The 360 Modena should look familiar to you, right? It is from Lausanne.

Sounded like a busy weekend as well, running back and forth between Porsches, Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
