yes, it is new, I also like that it is not made a night, when you can't see anything, I am also pleasantly surprised how well E55 hangs on, mind you it has less hp and a V8 (albite a supercharged one), perhaps it is the torque that keeps the MB fat ass so close for a long while, and then the higher rpm hp of M5 takes over at greater speed
