Default Teaser of upcoming pics of this weekend

I had a great weekend, full of car stuff. The Ferrari club of Belgium did a 2-day tour through the country this weekend. And I set myself a mission to follow them (at least when I had the time). Since the weather was pretty good some nice Ferrari’s turned up (250 GT Lusso, 275 GTB Shortnose, 365 Daytona, 330 GTS, Superamerica’s, etc.). I travelled about 600 km to catch up with them and follow them on their tour. But it was worth it

In case this wasn’t enough, I also visited the Engine Room. Most people will now think: wtf, the engine room? Well let me explain it. The Engine Room is a place were owners of an exclusive car can order a parking space (when they think their garage isn’t really suited for their expensive machine). As added extra the cars are well taken care off during the time the owner isn’t driving it. Attached to this place there is a club. Normally you can’t enter the place unless you’re a club member or exclusive car owner interested in their services. But with a group of car nuts we could arrange a visit, and that took place yesterday.

And to make the day even better, I also got a ride in a slightly tuned 996 C4S with horny sounding exhaust system and an RS4. It really was an amazing day. To put some figures on the amazingness: Until this weekend I had only seen one 512BB in my life. Yesterday I saw three of them

I obviously took hundreds of pics this weekend. But editing them will take some time, so as for now I’ll give you a little preview. Be patiened for the full pics posts

And here’s a little low quality preview vid of the C4S and RS4: click here

Well since the weather was good, quite a lot of owners picked their cars up to drive during the weekend: the Murciélago, SLR, F40, 550 Spyder were gone. Sorry

Yes Arman, there will come more. Just give me some time to edit and upload the pics

LOL, the second one who asked this
Well my camera just has a max resolution of 3008x2000. And I resize it to 1500xsomething. And something is 997 to keep the aspect ratio right.

Well, I understood that, but the "standard" dimensions are usually 1024x768, 1280x960, 1600x1200 and 2048x1536.. since you are already resizing, I was wondering why to go with 1500 not that it changes something in the end

Fantastic pictures! I look forward to seeing more of cars at the Ferrari club event (especially the silver 275 GTS) and some of the cars at the Engine Room!

Looks like you had a great weekend! I'm jealous now...

Well if you were a lucky buyer of a 959 in the 80's you could choose between a normal version and a sports version, which is also known as the 959 S. This 959 S has no airco, no central locking, no electric mirrors or windows. But it’s equipped with a sportier suspension without the height adjustment of the standard 959. So it basically is a stripped down version of the 959. Compared it with the RS version of the 996 GT3. About 30 - I think - 959 S were built. You'll have to ask a Porsche nut for the exact number

3008 divided by 2 equals 1504 and I just take the closest round number
