Default Does anyone here race?

I been hanging around Jabbas World for a while and never come across any of you talking about your own race cars. I was curious if any of you do race? I don't mean street racing, but actual organized racing. Doesn't matter if it's autocross, or if your a professional.

I personally have been racing karts for the last seven years. I love every second of it. By racing myself it really changes my outlook on how I view races on TV and especially in person. I would love to hear what you guys race and maybe even some of your stories.

I aplogize, I meant for this to go in general chat!

I would but my car never works...now that it does, there's an event some time, or I may just have missed it, don't know.

I know you have mentioned it before but I can't seem to find it now, which model of Clio do you race in exactly? What are the changes over the road version?

I was looking at a Clio Sport 182 (Cup version) at the motor show and was quite impressed, I was set on a WRX for my next car but this thing has got my attention as if I get a secondhand it will be cheaper. I have read a few magazine reviews of it and all of them rave about it Have you driven this version?

My advice to you don't boost very high and take it easy.. belive me it's not really a nice sight when you see engine and water underneath your evo....... 1 bar is more than enough and have fun..

dani_d_mas that is awesome! Are you funding the team yourself, or is there a lot of sponsership money coming from armanque? I have looked at moving up, but money is always the biggest issue. Good luck and keep us informed!

I hear more an more how weak the Evo is - and here is yet more first and experience..

Mitsu like to advertise that the Evo series is the ultimate weekend weapon - but in reality.... hehe

BTW what did happen to the Formula Renault guy?

the evo will eventually get straightened out, its a new platform over here, in japan where they have had them since the 1st generation, they dont have the tuning probs we have here, just give it time, every new platform has its teething period

as far as me racing, i make it to the drag strip *yawn* and the occasional autocross/track event, but nothing serious yet
