Seriously, why somebody should shoot such a video? And even considering they maybe didn't realize while shooting, why to post it on the net after the editing??

Could really be anything in this video, BMW, bikes or UFOs! Next time they could try to turn off also the lights of the cars to make it perfect :roll:

TT, this vid was made by a couple of friends over on m5board, to highlight the difference in 2nd and 3rd gear acceleration between the New m5 and the older e39 m5. I don't think they published it with the intention of creating a wickedly exciting video for the public - more so one which is very interesting and accurately shows the real world performance of these cars for its enthusiasts. As long as you can see the headlights, you know where the car is.
Having said that, DAMN this car is quick. Also keep in mind that this is only in S5 mode, as the car is not broken in yet (which means the engine is at it's most responsive sport mode..). I loved this vid, thanks for the update just_me. 8)
