Default Canyon Run

Jabba this is why you must move to Southern California.

One pic you can see me standing with my green polo looking out off that lil rise. Theres about a good 30 foot drop right there and a quick moving stream down there. In the shot with the cars lined up and the steep banking turn, that would be id say a good 100-150 foot drop right there to tree tops. Maybe even more, not sure at all. Many changes in angles, a few turns remind you of the nurburgring. at the entrance there is a sign that is squiggly and says next 14 miles. 8) Of course we took the turns at the speed limit. THe M3 lead the whole way, followed by me in the Z, and then my buddys in a SRT4 and RSX-Type S who changed posistion a few times.

Is that the Crest? Some buddies and I used to ride the Crest at night. A pretty crazy, but fun experience to say the least.

No its a place which leads from santa clarita over by the 14 to the 210 at the exit called yarnell. So from Placerita Canyon exit on the 14 you take a right head into the 3 miles of twist that is Placerita canyon. You come to a stop sign take a right and then about a mile down you will see the sign that says 14 miles of turns. We are gonna try and get video next time.

Yeah, I almost got a citation for pulling over at a viewpoint at ~10pm a couple of months ago.

But I know a road that's really good too. Deer Creek road to Yerba Buena road by PCH. There a couple of pics in my sig.

It's a pretty hard road. It's a really narrow, curvy two lane on the edge of a cliff.

He let me go with a warning. There's a sign that says no stopping after 9pm, and I had just pulled in to take a rest before heading back. He rolled in a few seconds later.

Dumb Luck.

TT you should move your ass out here too. Bring the dolls. Im telling you so-cal has the best canyon roads. If you like running throuhg more foresty areas then you can move to norcal, or ohio.

The CHP are cracking down to the point of giving you a ticket for anything they can find if they pull you over. It is happening on the Crest, all over the Santa Monica mountains, near Latigo and down in San Diego at Palomar mountain (A damn fun, but very technical road). They are really harassing the Sportbike riders. Now granted, many who ride or drive on these roads are breaking the law and speeding, but there are also many who aren't. The residents are sick of their roads becoming a race track and I can understand. I just hate the fact that all modified cars or Sportbikes are being harassed. A cops once said, "Warn all your riding buddies to stay off my mountain or I will ticket them."

damn what a bastard. From what i understand its the ricers ruining it again for everyone. Trying to do drifts and what not on the roads, and holding street races. You should read what the guys over at 6speed have to say about it. They are laughing at how the cops cant catch them in the canyons.
