Default My day at the track; F360, racing Civic R

Ok, so the magazine owner also owns a small racetrack. 2km's long,
but defenetly some nice corners....

The car is the same that was used in the photoshoot with the 430 a while
ago.

Gillette had something going on, and the winners of a game( don't ask I don't know, you know the 3 answer stuff and the chosen ones get to ride in a modena for a lap or two...)

The owner of the mag knows the main importer of gillette for slovenia, croatia and serbia and the guy asked my boss if he could arrange for a car ride to be involved in that game as a first prize.

So the mag owner caled up the guy with the modena and the lucky ones came with the bus to the racetrack. My mag organised everything, gillette just brought the people that won.

So when all the people went home, we had a little fun in the 360 modena also.

By now I've met the owner a few times( allways had something to do with the mag) and we're like "hey, what's up", wich is always a good thing

I also got to ride in the Civic. That car is crazy. Once the tires get warmed up, the modena doesn't stand a chance in hell even coming near the honda in the corners. I got the ride in the civic on tape. The guy driving the civic was last years slovenian champion not in a competition I don't know the name of ops: He also has a racing bmw320i- crazy car

Privatly he drives a BMW X5 and the MB SL 55 AMG.

It was sunny, not the best day to take pics, but what the hell.
I never get tired of seing the 360.

Oh, I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm not sure.

On sunday morning I met up with the editor to give me a few mags to show to
Maximillion Cooper and we sat in the city centre drinking coffee and a few of the editors friends came by. One came with the new Carrera 997S and the other friend asked the guy if he can take it for a spin. I grabbed the opurtunity and taged along. The ride was super cool. I got my camera with me and mada a small vid while we were driving. Just a a few second clip of the interior....

And here's a pic of me and mr. Cooper.
Btw, both me and mr. Cooper were drinking heavily and partiying the previous night so we talked about that for the first 10 mins of the conversation

Awesome second job. You sure had a great time on the track with the 360. The pics are great looking, especially the ones of the cars on the track. The Race Civic Type-R sounds like it was an impressive ride. Was the engine tweaked as well compared to a stock Type-R?

Looks like a fun day, to say the least...

Also, the pics are very nice. The first one in the seventh row is now my background. *thumbs up*

sorry, no more pics of the civic..... ops:

a whole bunch of stuff was going on and I simply forgot to take more pics....

The engine has 220hp. (I guess the exhaust and some minor touches.....)

No pics of the 997S, but I have posted pics of that car before, not knowing I'll be riding in it someday...

Too bad actually because it was parked next to a 996 carrera cabrio.
The owner left right after we came back, so there was no time...

what a great experience for you, a 360 on track must be sensational as it makes one of the best sounds out there The pics turned out very nicely, now you just need to take the F430 to the track
