Default Rimouski car show: McLaren m6GT, DeLorean, etc.

Here are some pics I took at the Rimouski show car

Here is a very rare one: a McLaren m6GT. It is a road version of Bruce McLaren's race car. It has a 5.7 litters Chevrolet V8 of 600 HP, a four speed manual gearbox and weights only 636 kg. 0-100 km/h in 2.8 sec. I think only four have been made. I'll post some articles about this car that I have in a book later, when I'll have a scanner.

ENJOY!!

same car next to the Ferarri Testarossa

The other cars were nothing compoared to the McLaren but here are some pics of them.

a DeLorean

a Subaru WRX sti

a Chevrolet SS

in the fashion of all race cars converted to road use... that mclaren is scary fast. sweet catch, it definitely looks every bit a racecar. those doors are pretty weird too

OUPS!!
sory for the mistake about the ferrari. They said it was a testarossa so I didn't do any further search. There's also the fact that all my attention was on the McLaren .
By the way, it is a 1970 (I forgot to mention it before)

Rimouski...It's cool to see another JW users from Province du Québec.

Definitively this McLaren m6GT is really an exclusive car. Even if this car is a road version, one thing is sure: It's almost impossible to drive this car on our bad quality streets of Québec.

Cheers.

Yeah I know what you mean. When he got it, he used to drive it on the road. M. St-Pierre told me that he hasn't run it on the streets for 15 years, but next year he will probably immatriculate it. (he's a friend of my father and my grandfather...so...maybe if he do so i could take a ride with him 8) ( i know, i know i can always dream.) but if it happens, I'll take a vid and share it with you guys if I'm a member of the video section at this time...)

I hope that you will be able to have a ride in this rare racing car. It's obvious that we would like to see that.
