Just Check those performance figures. 12.2 for the quarter mile, 13.0s 0-200km/h, 8.7s 0-100mph. M6 is hauling some serious ass.

My mate is also waiting for delivery in about a month, that´ll be the only one to come in finland this year. Janne Ahonen finnish skijumper is going to get one, but has to settle for new M5 until the second one gets in Finland.

yes ronin, you will be able to order the car with out the PDC sensors.

I've got mixed feelings about the 6. The coupe is definetly a better looking car than the cabrio. it looks a little like the Toyota Solara in the rear and that's what i don't like about it. But it has the power to make up for it, plain and simple. the M6 is going to be a friggin huge kick in the ass

I agree, they don't look that special in the mags and online but in the metal I was suprised at how curvy and good looking they are

Short video of M6 also. from auto und motorsport. When i drove 645, it impressed me, driving was easy and there was still nice grunt, even thou no M-motor. And if there is some details that people dont like, it has grown on me, like the E60 5-series did. Car won´t look dated soon. And if there still was something to dislike, i bet i would forget it, when the v10 talks it´s talk

Well, that's how it is with beemers now. It's either you like the design or you don't. I like it. Clarkson likes it. I know quite a few other successful people who like it as well. But I'll be the first one to say that not everybody I met has liked it.

Besides, it's quite a bit of car to get for £68k anyway. CF roof (and bumpers according to that article), V10 engine, good seating, good handling, exclusivity, good dealership service, and it can seat 2 adults and 2 kids.

one more review of the car, even thou it is msn, there is talk about the manual transmission and stuff. The article says that UK will get cars in the 4th quarter of ´05 and price will be 80k£.

And about the room, there is room for 4adults, just not too long at the back, because of the roofline.

I also agree, after seeing a few on the road they have become my favourite of the current BMW's and even out of all cars. They really have a good presence on the road and the lines/curves aren't nearly as bad as they look in the pic

If I think that about the regular E63 then this M6 should be even better

The performance better justify the premium over the M5, that's for sure.

Considering the 645 is already more than the 545 i'm not at all surprised. i'm thinking that the acceleration on the M6 will be slightly faster than the M5 due to the aerodynamics of the car alone. I belive the 6 is also lighter than the 5 but i can't be sure because i don't have the 645 training manual.

Regardless, for £80k, you can get either a fully specced Porsche Carrera S, a fully laden M6, or for about £10k more, a fully specced AMV8.
