Default only have 35K to buy a car, help!

Hey everyone, im a long time JW member, but this is my very first post. I really need everyones help. For the last 3 years ive been saving up to buy a car for myself when i graduate college, and now the time has come. I've gone thru every car in that price range, and i mean EVERY car, and i still cant make a decision. Im leaning towards a lux. car or a sports car, dont really want a truck or suv etc.... Anywayz, my quesiton for ya'll is if you all had 35K (US dollars) to spend on any car (give or take 2K for TTL), what would ya'll get. Just looking for opinions, thanks guys!

If you are looking for a used car, don't get an M... The guys who drive them typically beat the shit out of them. My friend owns an M3, leased, and hes managed to fuck up the transmission, the engine, and the doors.

If you want alittle bit of luxury and a fast car, but a 2003+ used Lincoln LS. Thats what I drive. With variable valve timing on a Jaguar Derived V8, it can get to 60 in 6.5 seconds. Tiptronic and Advanced traction control, plus sporty suspension and big tires, give it sport characterstics without it being jarring on long trips. Also, they are very reliable. Mine has 72k miles on it, and only a few ignition coils -spark plugs on a Jag v8 - have had to be replaced. You can pick them up on ebay for like 25k.

Remember that you have pay tax and title a car, so you have to aim alittle low.

that not true, your friend was unlucky and he find bad car,
im sure M cars are not bulletproof, but are still average comparing to other brands,
bmw is gigant company, and M cars are contructed for action on roads,
look how many old bimmers are on roads

you can pick up a used M3, or Z06, GTO, Cobra, used S4, C32 AMG, or even an older E55. There are many things in the 35K range.

I would buy a new car - maybe A3 Sportback 3.2 V6, A4 Cabriolet, E90 3-Series, 350Z. But I'm not sure about the US prices.
You are good in saving, have to admit

I'll part with my 9-3 for $35k

If it was me I'd get an S4 V8 Wagon, slighty used, but I have a dog to consider.

Used NSX for sure! Buy a good one for around 28K if you look hard! And then can spend rest on mods and insurance and so on.

ONLY 35K??!!! Must be nice Go get yourself a 330Ci Sports Package. not as much power as an M3 but insurance will be easier on you. you shouldn't have to pay much more than 30 for it.
