Default VW CrossFox: WTF?

Some of you (especially_the europeans) might have heard about VW's replacement for_the Lupo: VW Fox

VW sells_the Fox here in South America since 2003 (_and it's a crap btw). Now, Fox has been given a semi-SUV treatment _and been renamed Crossfox. Take a look at it:

What_the fuck they had in mind when they designed such a bizarre thing? First of all, it's FWD, no limited slip differential, _and common road tires. The_Crossfox is totally useless on any off-road situation.

The_car costs 40.000 BRL (15.000 dollars) and_ comes with no power windows, no power doors, no radio/cd-player..._I guess _the only standard equipment is _the engine, a 4-cylinder 1.6 featuring 102 brave horses. For 50.000 BRL (19.000 dollars) you can have some amenities: ABS brakes, front airbags, CD player, leather seats... and_ 50.000 BRL is a hell lot of money here, believe me! I_think less then 1% of _the brazilians can spend this_amount in a _car.

Probably u guys in europe will have the_crossfox too..._I heard people in VW is already thinking on the_possibility of a Crossgolf:

so VW, _what's next? :x

i've seen it on the road...for testing purposes....not a nice looking car at all......for some reason, VW have out a spare on the back, to make it look more SUV like.....IMO that just makes the trunk harder to open hahahag

so... they gave a fox a lift, stuck the spare on the back... and that's it? ridiculous. and it doesn't even have that much clearance.

a crossgolf would make more sense, with the availability of the R32's VR6 and AWD system.

What a waste of space, overpriced and useless off road.

I'd feel better taking my Saab off-road. Ground clearance looks to be the same and at least I can start in 3rd gear when it is slippery / actually have some power to use...

Subaru Justy. That's what you want, what you really really want.
