1. It was Keith Moon. Before it was the New Yardbirds, but the Keith Moon thing was "lead Zeppelin" so they changed it to Led so people would pronounce it right.

1.Keith Moon....he was known to say "you're going down like a led zeppelin" and when he did so, to JP in a New yardbirds gig, they decided to keep the name of Led zeppelin, for pronuncion purposes...
