asian people treat people like that as if they were novelties. Travel to China and see how many people want to take your picture jsut because you aren't asian. I mean, just look at the gap between him and everyone else in the crowd. It's like they have hi on display or something. Even those two girls think he is amusing.
not to mention the fact that he must have to literally be a backseat driver due to the damn compacts in theat country

One reason he probably doesn't look too happy is because he is in pain. Those that have his condition usually die at a young age when their hearts give out from too much work. Their bones are also constantly stressed from the unbalanced weight. As far as him playing Basketball, I doubt he could even run. If you saw him walk you would understand.

I think that condition is called Agromegaly (spelling might be off) I believe it is triggered by an extremely overactive Pituitary gland. According to the Discovery Channel thing that i sw on it, these people generally have poor periphial vision and constantly suffer from headaches.

Jeez that dude is tall. any figures on how tall exactly? and how it compares to tallest person in the world? i've seen some guiness pics, and that looks mighty close to a record.
and yeah, that looks more like the disorder that's mentioned above. and that's also y he prolly can't play bball. it def looks like he's taller than yao ming, tho i doubt he's athletic. (yao actually has really tall parents, so his height isn't an physiological mistake)
btw, look how big his hands are.
